I agree with everything you just said! I will definitely be celebrating Valentines day this year! (for myself and my daughter, who's handmade mailbox will surely be full!)

So was your life apart from meaning and value for 21 years?

That's a pretty big chunk of time for you to consider meaningless.....

Ah, Zach.... you're right. I was equating sin with "bad" things.

Wonder: How old were you when you became a Christian?

Can you give me one reason not to sin without using scripture?

But you contribute to your church. You admitted a couple posts up that Churches spend too much money on themselves.

Wouldn't it be more productive to fund your own acts of kindness? Give 10% of your salary to a homeless shelter... or something else along those lines?

I think you misread the website.

The person is actually being responsible... looking for someone who has HIV so that he doesn't spread it... because he obviously has it himself.

It's like a person who has herpes posting an ad for a Sexy Girl with Herpes..... It isn't that he thinks herpes is sexy, you just can't catch herpes twice. So once you have herpes, it's responsible of you to only sleep with people who already have it.

He isn't describing HIV as cool.... he is describing the person who has it.

Are you in the UK? Just wondering since you said local news...

.... and are you saying that only people who are raped as children become homosexual?

So why not be Benevolent yourself? Why donate your money to an organization that only uses a small percentage of it's fund toward benevolence?

Wonder: Are you a member of a Church? If so, do you contribute the recommended 10% of your salary?

Where did you hear that gay people think that it is cool to be HIV Positive?

That sounds like church propaganda.

Also, how do you think that homosexuals were decieved into being attracted to the opposite sex?

Anti-Gay activist, Goerge Rekers was spotted taking a vacation with a escort from rentboy.com, which is advertised as one of the largest online gay male escort agencies.

Let's take a second to delve into who Goerge Rekers is. He believes that homosexuality is a mental disorder that can be cured through psychological treatment. He was on the founding board of the Family Research Council, who's views gay relationship as "harmful" resulting in " negative physical and psychological health effects." Rekers also authored books such as: Shaping Your Childs  Sexuality, The Journal of Human Sexuality, Growing up Straight : What Families Should Know about Human Sexuality, etc.

FINALLY, the source of all those years of gay oppression comes out... gay REPRESSION.

Rekers says that he just needed someone to carry his bags while he was on vacation.
Why not use the hotel's bellboys? Well because they didn't have the  "smooth, sweet, tight ass" and "perfectly built 8 inch cock (uncut)" that the escort did. Not to mention they weren't "sensual," "wild," and "up for anything" either.

I think Reker should just own up to his gay love affair. We should out all anti-gay activists, one sexy gay escort at a time.

BTW, Here is a pic of his escort choice.... for your viewing pleasure.

ENJOY :)

Do you think that divorce rates and religion have any correlation?

U.S. divorce rates by major religion:
Jews 30%
Born-again Christians 27%
Other Christians 24%
Atheists, Agnostics 21%

Source: http://www.religioustolerance.org/chr_dira.htm
This poll was done in 2008.  Interesting that Atheists and Agnostics are least likely to divorce.  Not by much, granted but one would think that they would be at the top of list. I mean, lets face it, most religious and/or spiritual people think that people without religion have no guideline for morality and lack faith in a higher power.  This statistic poll makes me wonder though.  Maybe atheists/agnostics by and large don't have moral standards that parallel religious teachings or believe in an omnipresent all knowing presence or deity of any sort, by they do seem to manage to stay hitched longer.  How is that posssible?

Perhaps they live life more simply and they can focus on what they deem important in their lives; living for themselves, their family and their own happiness, free from original sin, unneccesary guilt, ridiculous rules and regulations, and self hatred from believing that every indulgence and pleasure they persue is a sin.

Just a thought...

Angels in the sky, angels all around you.  Do you believe that angels show themselves in the clouds? Or any other form for that matter?

Here's a site with pictures of clouds that look like angels:

Post your own pics if you have any.

uhhh, this one is uhh, yeah... http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/wales/2166683.stm

Heres an exert:

Hardman (14 years old) who had lived just a few yards away and had been Mrs Leyshon's (90 years old) paper boy - mutilated her body before placing pokers at her feet in the shape of a cross.

Her heart had been removed, wrapped in newspaper and placed in a saucepan on a silver platter next to her body.

The prosecution said her killer drank her blood in a "macabre ritual".

I ran across this article on :
http://www.missingpersons-ireland.freepress-freespeech.com/humansacrifices.htm

A website dedicated to finding articles and formulating theories on human sacrifice.  They believe that human sacrifice is still very relevant and has increased drasticially since the 1980's.
There are dozens if not hundreds of these stories all over the internet.  Obviously the motives for any murder are not always clear cut, but some definetely seem to be sacrifical and ritiualistic.
