What is your passion?
Do you believe in it enough to risk everything for it, or is it just a
passing thing to waste time in your absent minded search for meaning
to your existence?
Take science, it claims to believe much of what it can proof and prove
and little of what it can't.
Then you have folks of faith who also believe much about what can't often be
proofed or proven except by reciting their codex's of choice.
And then there are folks who bridge the gap between these two extremes
for that is what they truly are.
One is fixed in this time and this time alone for they have no proof of more
time when this game is done.
Currently the world is celebrating the FIFA CUP, and there was a team that
was seen by many as the long shot- the underdog, who in the
dying minutes of EXTRA TIME found the goal to sweep not just past their
opponent of the moment but into first place of their division.
If you haven't been informed yet who that team was shame on you.
They played with SPIRIT of FAITH and with the SCIENCE of the game
and they never never quit as so many of the more vaunted teams did and are
now out in the first rounds.
As a CHRISTIAN i like to delude myself that I would risk it all, but how to test
that presumption? To go out and take the ball to the opponents.
But like on some teams I am a ball baubler, having only a record to prop my
often weal faith.
A record I know is flawed by centuries of dirty hands adjusting the game script.
But I know this much as does anyone seeking for proof, if you keep looking
and asking and knocking and not quitting you shall find that goal, and know
truth.
I am willing to stake it all, question is, will I be at the final table, because this
like every thing in this game called life takes COMMITMENT, and heart.
HOW MUCH HEART and COMMITMENT are you willing to place?
