CYNICS one and all

 

A universal trait of us human beings who have reached a few years

of life experience, most of which evolves around what others told

us to believe as true. Who then went out and did the opposite of

what they taught-preached, though were still expecting of us until

we were old enough to do as them.

Who in this world today isn’t a cynic? Nobody given due time.

Consider Websters definition,

A cynic is a member of a philosophical bent who hold that virtue

to be the only good and stress independence from the worldly desires and pleasures. They usually hold this cynical view of superiority over the rest of society which is so ensconced in its selfish material interests.

Now to be cynical, is to be like a dog, that we are driven by our self esteem-ego’s predator nature versus prey, where the strongest lives easiest-longest-best, thereby often denying the sincerity of peoples motives which in turn become their actions in their value of life.

 

We all want to live well, be it believer or non believer.

Nobody wants to be poor for the simple sake of being poor, and thus as Darwin surmised the natural pecking order of all life in general, that of the survival of the fittest- or in our case the meanest, whereby,

ie I want what you have, or you may want what you lack but I have,

such as, stuff, happiness, wealth, women, food, fulfillment, knowledge.

Society works well when everyone has the understanding of their place, and in our age, that we are all equal and thus all are equal

to all opportunities, access, without the cost of being medieval.

Some of the Bibles greatest moral lessons revolve around cynics and

cynicism.

The belief that this world is a fair place is a lie.

UNBELIEF in the fact that this world is a very unfair place is truth.

It is an unfair world, where not what you may know but who you blow gets you ahead, no pun intended, where the weak are the fare

for the strong and ruthless, and the weak are often swept aside.

Just as in nature so too man’s societies where a balance must exist

or chaos reigns. These lines of equilibrium are fluid, they ebb and

flow but a unless a balance is soon imposed the haves will surely

be brought to heel by the have nots, though in a balanced society

the converse is the norm, whereby the haves exploit the have nots.

Unless there is hope for the lowest caste member to escape their lot

no collective of man would function.

Religion, armies and today education offer the means for leverage from the lowest levels. Maybe not for you persay but your offspring

if you are willing to sacrifice for them. And if you have done all that you can do, you aren’t guaranteed that they won’t then go off and waste it selfishly via the many cracks of circumstance, addiction, time and place- that of causality of the whole.

 

Eve was the first cynic who didn’t apparently believe her makers words and fell into the embrace of a slick sales pitch.
And AI became self aware. Pandora is a similar story.

In Christianity we have 4 great cynics, Judas, Peter, Thomas and later on a fellow not of the original dozen, named Saul aka Paul.

Judas was a self serving thief as the story is told, who thought to

force the hand of his teacher to see if he couldn’t be elevated to the

position of CFO- TREASURER. but things went sideways in this

scheme for his dream.

Peter was as full of doubt as he was often so sure, a double minded soul, not knowing whether to go left or right, if he was coming or

going.

Thomas was the same as Pete, but more demanding of his peers for

proof of what they were witnessing even though he had been privy

to much of what they had seen before their dream fell in.
Paul who was as he notes, borne out of time, came into the fray

blinded on his vaunted road from Jerusalem to Damascus on his self

perceived holy mission to rid the world of this messianic sect that

were to his Pharisitical ears heresy, and later he had forgotten how

he came to be what he was become, as his letters today tell, where

he too didn’t believe the promptings of the Spirit to remain put where he had been assigned to labor,

Today’s world emphasis is on the nobility of, being cynical.

From the cradle to the grave life’s lessons harden us all to be come abject opposites of what our youthfulness promised-promoted. Instead we became fixated-stagnated-bitter negatives of our youthful dreams if the opportunities that were promised us weren’t attained.

And this is happening ever at an earlier age in each subsequent generation.

Today we are staggering back into the realm of the medieval, the few who are glorified filthy rich while the rest who toil with no real security as every avenue-door that once held promise is found locked with

the sign, NOT WELCOME HERE, those many venues whereby

men promise heaven but deliver only emptiness, themselves the

exploitive weevils in the mill.

The more we build, buy have and explode exponentially globally we directly also become conversely poorer for our reach to grasp the

ever elusive brassy ring- baubles that were hung first above our cribs.

 

Science has become our mentor in this, where the axiom of PROVE IT holds the way, and one needed to once prove the litmus true again

and again, but now a days that is not the score any more.

Science today has become a prostitute selling herself and her truths-favors to anyone with the right Midas touch. Her looks lines are just as that of a whore who has seen way too many dirty dicks.

She suckles on the DISCOVERY for GLORY, that of fame and fortune are today’s legacy she offers.

She is our modern wet nurse, our confidante, our hope in a brighter

more promising-prosperous future of equality and equity.

Science in a vacuum could but sadly our sciences have much to live down here in the gutter of this dust ball, that is ruled by cynics, ego’s, limited resources, time and corrupt corporations of men.

 

People can’t you see the arid acrid world they are offering to you.

so long as you do what they want of you, in the hopes that you one day may rest your addled confused minds.

The likes of BP, Mobil-Exxon, Enron, the DOW of every stock exchange they can set up to divest you of more of your hard earned

trust now to be found on any corner globally, is what runs this world.
They tell you what’s true and what time it is for you.
That spewing goo in the gulf of Mexico ain’t theirs, the ship opened in Prince William Sound not theirs, the fouled water from their METHANE wells you need to now boil not their fault, the fouled air you breath not theirs, the lost jobs and pensions, the foreclosures not theirs.

And so like the first natives who went out to meet the white cannibals landing on their shore, you clap your hands in glee when they just include you, like poor children who have no understanding.
You sacrifice for them, the promises they made and then changed on

you. You are even asked to die for them, here at home far afield, it matters not one iota where so long as their mission is secured to

keep their stranglehold tight.
Your elected officials are theirs, bought lock stock and filthy barrel

to do with as they deem fit.

And if someone should come along and offer you AN OUT, no cost

how many of you would say, YES PLEASE, or would you be cynical like me and tell them the route to hell?

 

Do you GNU”S know the wolves, lions from them who are trying to awaken the sleepers form their thrall like regimes of drudge monotony?

LOOK PEOPLE, Neo is real, so too Morpheus, Trinity but not as they would have you believe, if only you would have your own eyes

to see by, your own freedom to move by and your own mind linked

to the ONE SOURCE and unlinked from their ever changing one, that makes more addicts than FREED CITIZENS of ZION.

WOULD YOU WANT TO WAKE UP, or would you wish to remain inserted in the matrix of idiots where your spot seems so

cocooned and insulated.

We all what proof to know if this religion is true or false. Me maybe

more so than you to prove that this sleeper is only jacked in but out

of the control of the SYSTEM men worship. That I have been FREED.

It is natural to be cynical. LOOK at the legacy of Christianity or any

one of the many other UTOPIAN belief systems available. Look without the shades on, without the blinkers they placed you in of a system that used you up and then when you are no longer profitable

spits you out.

Maybe little green men will rescue you, maybe not. Maybe angels will alight maybe they will turn out cold coal dark.
My late Nana said this. What have I to lose if I have believed?
NOTHING even if there is nothing after all. But to you capitalists without the lottery ticket, you can’t win without the chit and the same is true about FAITH.
What have you got to lose that might not be gained for all eternity, which is currently beyond so many of your natural abilities to comprehend?
Is there fire or not in your heart, is there electricity to light the lamps

or is there nobody residing within you?
These can be stoked, switched and they can be turned off-snuffed out.

That is all the choice we have when we seriously sit down and do the

real cost analysis of what life ultimately comes down to.
What shall you do, for it is up to each one of us to make that choice

for ourselves, for nobody can bring back anything but what they came in with, amen.
