Will you go to hell if you marry a person of the same sex? Even if you follow The Bible's do's and don'ts in every other category. You do charity work, pay your tithe, talk to strangers about Jesus, try to live a sinless life and repent for all sins committed and of course pray twice a day. What do you think?

Two things wrong with the post:

1. A person cannot marry a person of the same sex, no matter what man's laws say - God's law takes precedence. Marriage can only exist between a male and a female.

2. A person is not saved by their good works but through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. A person in rebellion against God is not in subjection to God.

This is all assuming you are a fully devote Christian with one flaw.

So are you saying that marriage to someone of the same sex doesn't matter?

If you can't be married in God's eyes..... it doesn't matter if you marry under man's law?

Are you also saying that people of other faiths cannot be married? Hindus and Toaists? Buddhists and Pagans? Atheists too? Can none of these people marry since they are not being united by God?

(I intentionally left out the Jewish and Islamic faiths because they pretty much all worship the same God, just with different names, Yaweh, God, Allah.)

God doesn't obey man's laws. Man is required to obey God's laws.

The attempt at the pretense of a marriage between same-sexers is not what sends them to hell, but it's a good sign that is where they were already headed when they got that far down the road to even think two of the same sex could marry each other.

I'm always happy to leave the final resolution to God, however.
