A fatwa is an Islamic religious ruling, a scholarly opinion on a matter of Islamic law. A fatwa is issued by a recognized religious authority in Islam.

And it is the LAW you will be living under if you don't force Congress to stop the court's new trend of looking to international law to define our Constitution.

I read the wikipedia on this also.

But, I am still trying to understand.

Is a Fatwa something like a thoery? Or a thesis?

It's the opinion of a scholar, but it isn't considered "law".

Is anyone an expert in Islamic Law?
