Well, Jehova's Witnesses believe that only 350,000 people will be in heaven after the Rapture. With the billions of people that have ever lived, that seems a little exclusive to me.

On a side note. A few of my friends have shirts for Halloween made up for this. On the front, it had a number ranging from 349,999 to 350,003. And the back read either "I'm in!" or "Just made it" or "Alternate" or "Just Missed" depending on the number.

Close, but no cigar.

They believe 144,000 will enter heaven. They call them the "Little Flock". They think the rest will live on the earth.

They are wrong about the 144,000. Those are all Jews.

They are almost right about the other. Heaven comes to earth after the Millennial Reign of Christ so we who are saved live in heaven, on the earth, and it's multiplied millions, not 144,000. Those are the Jewish evangelists who preach Christ during the tribulation period on the earth, after the church is gone.

No problem; we knew what you were getting at.

The JW's are wrong. The Bible is so clear about who the 144,000 are I don't see how anyone gets it confused. It even lists the tribes each group of 12,000 is from.

Very specific. Seems like hell is going to be a pretty crowded place... that is if this is indeed true. I don't subscribe to it though.

Hi Zach,

The Bible states, "Hell hath enlarged itself."

That is sad, but sadder still is no one has to go to hell. Not a soul. Christ is all-inclusive. He will save anyone who will put their trust in Him. "All that the Father giveth Me shall come to Me, and He that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out."

I have trusted Christ and I am saved, and it's not because I'm the best guy in town. I am saved on the merits of Christ alone.

No one has to go to hell. Those who go, go of their own volition, for they willfully choose to reject God and His Christ.

Of course not.

Here is a taste of the 'general trend'...

Deuteronomy 21

15 If a man have two wives, one beloved, and another hated, and they have born him children, both the beloved and the hated; and if the firstborn son be hers that was hated:
16 Then it shall be, when he maketh his sons to inherit that which he hath, that he may not make the son of the beloved firstborn before the son of the hated, which is indeed the firstborn:
17 But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated for the firstborn, by giving him a double portion of all that he hath: for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn is his.

(hint: evil has to be defined (and confined) before good can be achieved - there is a mother to each, but the Father is One)

Zechariah 13

8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.
9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

Hell does not post the stats - God does, in the scriptures.

Just look, and perceive! You might even see, then, the 'general trend'.

There are more than these two passages to go on, if you only understood the correct contexts.

Another example is:
Matthew 24

37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

That means that half will be saved from 'our' world, if taken at face value.
But when you combine that with the third of the angels that will be cast down from heaven (since we shall be 'as the angels in heaven' - Mt 22:30, Mr 12:25) - that, again, totals 1/3 of the total.
(given a 6B population, 3B will be taken. 1/3 of 3B is 1B. 3B - 1B = 2B -- 1/3 of 6B)

The ratio of 1/3 to 2/3 comes up far too often in the Bible to be taken for granted.

WHAT IS THE TREND HERE?
Seems the WITNESSES got it as wrong as the CREATIONISTS and the
DARWINIANS have in their IDEALS

SCRIPTURE states that only 144,000 times three will be the most special
group but of the others whom the BLOOD of heavens LAMB covers, there is
only this word recorded by JOHN, UNTOLD.

Question for those wondering about this ratio, which side of the EQUATION
you will be found on.
It ought matter to you, as it matters to me.
But hell sounds like fun from the hollywood perspective, and those raised
on the DIET of SNL.
But the truth is simpler than that, the LAKE OF FIRE is a permanent disposal
site, where even hell, death, and everything UNCLEAN will suffer- endure ETERNITY
absent from the SOURCE.
CONSIDER it a poet's read when the idea of BLACK HOLES didn't exist.
And I saw the heavens and the earth fled from the face of HIM there on the THRONE.
and no place found where they could continue to exist, while a new heaven and
earth were drawn into existence.

SOMETIMES TRUTH IS REALLY STRANGER THAN FICTION-SF.

CONSIDER what the CREATIONISTS miss when they argue against EVOLUTION.
And what EVOLUTIONISTS DISMISS when they poo poo CREATIONISM.
What do a bunch of fleas on this globe know, that is actually PROVABLE?
THAT THEY ARE, and that whichwas before DIED, and most of them will also die.
So they skirt what was WRITTEN 4000 years before there was even such a thing
as SCIENCE, just as Creationists skirt the TRUTH of the age of this CREATION.

ANYONE HERE GROW UP as I did, our first reader being the DICK JANE AND SPOT
series. NO don't soil it with your grown callousness.
Just because I learned to read there, doesn't mean I believe what I read.
It was a EXERCISE. And so too are the many HOLY BOOX, they are but records

Carl Sagan used to say about the UNIVERSE, with it's BILLIONS AND BILLIONS
of STARS that must surely have planets close to ours, that such a HUGE
SPACE would surely be a waste of SPACE if there was only us.

I was reading Richard Dawkins -The Greatest Show on Earth this morning where
there was this parable-analogy of what all matter is like- SPACE, which if by matter
of the perspective of size may appear as a SOLID.
Consider the the model of a ATOM which the greeks wrote about 600 years before
the birth of JESUS.
Which the Bible doesn't contain except the greek word of IOTA, but the Quran
900 years after the birth of this X-MAN included in their TOME.
Consider the each element like that of a fly buzzing around in a stadium- football
field. The fly representing the NUCLEUS made up of an equal pair of numbered PROTONS
and NEUTRONS, around which buzz the electrons.
And each atom's weight consists mostly of the nucleus, for the orbiting electrons really
are so small that it would maybe resemble the orbit of PLUTO around our Sol.

And in the MICRO SPACE we don't know what HOLDS them together and in harmony
and we are going to explain the TRUTH of the MACRO SPACE of the UNIVERSE?
What are we fleas by comparison? Dust and in that MACRO or even MICRO
there should not be someone who 4000 years ago bestowed to a peoples INSIGHT
that todays disenchanted religious are turning to SCIENCE for worship?
DARWIN didn't ever say there is no GOD, but the new age accolytes today, those
proselytes of his day had done away with the very IDEA of GOD.
WHY?
BECAUSE of the hypocrisy found amongst RELIGIOUS.
Scripture even speaks to this- the name of GOD is blasphemed day and night
BECAUSE OF YOU RELIGIOUS, you double minded, you doubters, but mostly by you
HYPOCRITES who claim one thing one moment, demanding of others that, and then
doing the opposite.

LOOK PEOPLE, no religious BOOX will ever make BELIEVERS, but they may well
MAKE BELIEVE in so called believers.
GOD alone picks and elevates them who HE knows are best qualified to be HIS tools.
But today many of those tools are HIS, but the very fools of menschen creation.
Be it DARWINS, or LUTHERS, etc.

Where will we be when we are ripe for the dust? Back with the CONTINUM, where those
who labored for the KINGDOM-CONTINUMS CAUSE will be changed to a higher state
while the rest who don't make the cut will revert to what is known of the UNIVERSE,
STAR DUST-CARBON BLACK, the stuff that fills the space between the heavenly lights
in a place that is too alien for our minds to comprehend.
ATOMS THROWN INTO A HOLE- ENERGY TRAPPED never to play where GOD
was by them denied.

WHAT side of the equation are you currently founded on? Will you make the cut, or be
part of what is CUT.
